The Quiet Labyrinth contains 4 tracks of music: 3 originally recorded for the album released by Oophoi’s Umbra label in 2007 - This release includes a longform version of the music, original artwork for the Umbra release and artwork for jewel case - and is part of bringing the out of print music back into availability.

As the recording of Veils, Shadows finished (released on Hypnos Secret Sounds label) I was intrigued by the last sound of the album. I was inspired to begin with that sound here and explore it in a new way.
The context of the album evolved out of that sound and is in many ways a continuation of Veils, Shadows. Sounds that had laid dormant for over a year without a home seemed to call and soon became part of The Quiet Labyrinth.

A listeners comments: The Quiet Labyrinth is a very spooky trip indeed. It's not what I expected after the "outer space" journeys of previous Umbra releases "Stellar Nurseries" and "Realms Beyond the Stars and Light." This one is some kind of inner space/terrestrial-based deep zoneworlds not for the faint of heart. Another winner for Umbra and S. Ffordd...
