Brian Bourassa There was once "Hearts of Space." I used to listen to it back in the 80's...great stuff. There still is "Hearts of Space," but it is not as it once was.

Now on Bandcamp, there is "Free Floating Music" and this album, though not on this label, is as "free floating" as it gets.

Great stuff. Favorite track: Floating - umbra.

about

Floating was the third Seren Ffordd Album released by Oophoi on his Umbra label. It took the last section of ‘Stellar Nurseries’ – adding to it so that it was just over 70 minutes long.
Using a borrowed beginner’s keyboard I had to use the volume control manually to create the slow rise and fall of each note and chord.

The music is intended to create a gentle drifting sound.

Floating was also released on the Hypnos Secret Sounds label (www.hypnos.com) in 2011. For this version I added a small subtle amount of reverb that I didn’t have when I recorded it first time round – both the Umbra and HSS versions are available here.

Although it was originally part of a story relating to the stars and planet birth, on it’s own it has a different more dreamy feel – which various listeners have said they use for going to sleep, calming their baby and during holistic treatments such as reflexology.

I hope you enjoy the music.

Seren Ffordd UK

Seren Ffordd, (Star Road or Way of Stars), has been recording since 2004.
creating mainly soundscapes - which can be light / dark / noisy / strange by using acoustic sounds, effects & synths.
Everything is treated, carved and explored for unusual textures, dissonances, shades – allowing the evolving themes of each track or album to develop.
Occasionally 'music' has actually appeared as well.
